That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our Customer Support Officer, Kimberley Stanley, has been promoted to Business Advisor. Read on to learn more about Kim’s time at First Enterprise, why we’re excited to have her join the Business Advisor team, and what that might mean for you.
Kimberley’s promotion to Business Advisor recognises 16 months of hard work
Kimberley joined our merry little band of financially savvy staff in late 2024. She had previously spent 10 years working as an Area Technical Manager, overseeing the change of agreements for public houses.
As soon as she stepped into the office, she brought with her so much warmth, positivity, and all-round affability. In the words of the rest of the team, Kim is:
“Someone that is always ready to help others. The first to answer questions when there is a query. You know she has your back.
“She is full of life, a curious mind, and extremely supportive.”
In her role as Customer Support Officer, she has been part of the administrative backbone of our advisory team, supporting their efforts, and completing important checks that ensure your loans get processed faster and more efficiently.
First Enterprise is constantly growing. Since 2011, we have provided £96 million in lending, which has helped support 5257 businesses. £21 million of that lending has come in the last year alone.
With an ever-growing list of people seeking funding for their businesses, our need for an expanded Business Advisor team has never been greater. More advisors means we’re able to:

Kimberley has hit the ground running as a Business Advisor and is already helping businesses across the UK
Kimberley began taking on Business Advisor work in late March. In that time, she has handled her customers with care, guiding them on their Start Up Loan journeys, and helped more than a few receive funding.
Michael Fletcher, our Head of Credit, said: “She’s incredibly impressed the entire underwriting team. She has turned around applications so quickly, spotted potential problems, and ensured her clients are getting the most out of their lending.”
Danielle Davis, our Deputy Director, beamed about Kimberley’s promotion, saying: “She’s always been positive, and a brilliant addition to the team. She provides such great care to our customers, and I think it’s fantastic that yet another woman has been promoted within our organisation.”
Daniel Carrico, First Enterprise’s Executive Director, was completely blown away by Kim’s performance as a Business Advisor so far: “In the two weeks or so that Kim has been working in the role, she has absolutely hit the ground running. The work she’s delivered has been exceptional. I already know we made the right decision.”
So, how will Kimberley be celebrating her promotion? Well, there’s nothing she loves more than spending time with her two wonderful daughters, Lacie and Delilah, and unwinding with some country music. We hope she enjoys every minute of it, she deserves it.
