What does your business do? And how is it different from competitors?
Kondor Kidz is a unique, sustainability-focused business that makes kids’ golf more accessible and affordable through a circular economy approach. We provide high-quality kids’ golf clubs through low monthly fees. Once clubs are used, they are returned as children grow out of them, ensuring families always have the right size equipment without the costs of buying new sets.
Once clubs are used, we refurbish them, before offering them back out to customers at a lower monthly price. By utilising the circular economy model, we are making golf affordable and sustainable for the next generation to enjoy the many benefits the sport has to offer.
How is your background related to the business?
My background is deeply rooted in the golf industry, where I have worked for the past 9 years. I gained extensive experience and insight into how the game positively impacts people through mental and physical well-being.
Throughout my career, I also witnessed the challenges families face when trying to involve their children in the sport, particularly the high equipment costs as children’s needs change.

What challenges have you faced, and how did the loan help?
As a new brand, one of our primary challenges has been building customer trust in a competitive market. Families are understandably cautious when choosing equipment and services for their children, so establishing credibility and demonstrating the quality of our offerings has been crucial.
The loan helped us address these challenges by allowing us to free up cash to invest further in marketing campaigns, including digital ads, social media promotions, and event sponsorships. With these resources, we can continue to build trust, establish a strong brand presence, and ensure that Kondor Kidz becomes a go-to name in junior golf.
What inspired you to start your business?
Having worked in the golf industry for the past 9 years, I have seen first-hand the incredible benefits that golf offers, both on and off the course. It provides a unique combination of physical exercise, mental-wellbeing, and the chance to enjoy time outdoors.
However, I also noticed that for many families, the financial barrier to participation was simply too high. I wanted to change that and that’s what inspired me to start Kondor Kidz – a business built to make golf more accessible and affordable for families through a flexible, circular economy model.
