What inspired you to start your business?
We were inspired by a desire to live a slower, more intentional life. After moving from Birmingham to Ludlow, we wanted to create a space that reflects our values – helping customers embrace a more sustainable, mindful approach to shopping while offering high-quality, beautifully crafted products.
How is your background related to your business?
Coming from careers in engineering and teaching, we experience the fast-paced lifestyle we now aim to move away from. Our business is a direct response to that.
While our backgrounds are different, they’ve given us essential skills such as problem solving, which helps with running a business, and communication that allows us to connect with customers and share our vision.

As more people embrace slow living and mindful shopping, we provide an alternative to fast fashion and mass production. Our carefully curated selection focuses on sustainability, quality, and timeless design, helping customer make more intentional choices for their wardrobes and homes.
What challenges have you face, and how has the loan helped?
Retail is more unpredictable than ever, so one of our biggest challenges has been creating a stable business in a volatile market. To address this, we focused on developing multiple revenue-streams, balancing in-store sales with a strong online presence.
The loan has helped us invest in our online store, expand our product range, and strengthen our marketing efforts, ensuring we can adapt and grow sustainably.
