Lords Automotive, a mobile car detailing company based in Worcestershire, has landed £13,000  funding from First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans, under the British Business Bank’s Start Up Loans programme.

The Evesham business offers high levels of valeting, detailing, full body mop polish and paint correction on a mobile basis. Its mission is to restore cars to their original shine while also promoting environmental responsibility by minimising water usage in the cleaning process.

Married couple, Marian Saghin and Sinziana Taran, set up the business to fill a gap in the local market through the idea of “mobile valeting”, bringing the service offering directly to their customers. The business combines Marian’s passion about valeting and detailing with Sinziana’s three years of customer service experience in the hospitality sector.

The funding from First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans has primarily been used to purchase a van and equip it with the necessary materials inside, such as water tank, electric generator, cleaning products and equipment. Additionally, it has been allocated to create a website and buy uniforms for brand awareness.

First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans provides government-backed business loans ranging from £500 – £250,000 for start-ups and SMEs that are unable to borrow from traditional high-street lenders. The not-for-profit organisation reinvests any surplus into loan funds to further support economic growth and job creation in the local communities.

Sinziana Taran, Co-Founder of Lords Automotive, comments: “We applied for a Start Up Loan to get the business started, and securing the loan has helped us make our dream come true. The application was quicker than I had expected, and the support from my business adviser, Inderpal, was priceless and crucial for the application approval. We wholeheartedly recommend the Start Up Loan to anyone looking to start a business and in need of financial support.”

Inderpal Singh, Business Adviser at First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans, comments: “Marian and Sinziana have demonstrated a profound dedication to their work. It was a positive experience to review and support their loan application. I have no doubt that Lords Automotive will flourish in the coming years.”

Richard Bearman, Managing Director of Small Business Lending, British Business Bank commented: “Lords Automotive are filling a much needed gap in their local market and I’m confident that they will be able to continue to develop the business following their First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans. We are proud to support them on their journey and look forward to watching them grow even further.”
