Emily is the dedicated business adviser for the Derby and Nottinghamshire regions at First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans.

Since joining us in October 2014, she has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of aspiring entrepreneurs with their business applications to ensure they receive the right funding at the right time for their business.

Outside of her business adviser role, Emily runs her dress and jewellery hire boutique and retails her own jewellery collection so she also knows a thing or two about setting up a successful retail business.

Stella is the owner of Symra organic skincare. Stella had been making organic lip balms and selling them to friends at university but wanted to turn her hobby into a business.

After researching business finance, she applied for a start-up loan through us to help set up Symra. Thanks to the loan, Stella now sells her organic lip care worldwide on Amazon, eBay and her own e-commerce website.

Symra is an organic skincare brand seeking to add value to peoples’ lives by offering a healthy alternative to crude oil-based lip balms whilst also providing an income to Ghanaian women who produce the shea butter that goes into their products.
